Out Of My Mind is an amalgamation of synths and sampling, sounds and beats - a sonic ride that will make you get up and move or just chill out and groove. This album represents a collection of songs that I produced during the mid-to-late 2000s while still living in Toronto. Shortly after moving to Montreal in 2010, I had a total computer breakdown and lost the ability to access these tracks. After my initial devastation of the loss of so much time and effort invested in these recordings, the tunes fell off my radar for several years as I played in bands and worked on other projects. Fast forward to 2018 when I was fortunate to find a burned CD with mixed versions of all the material I had been working on during that period. These are the missing archives of that era, an eclectic array of grooves and hooks. There are lots of influences in these tunes (house, hip-hop, reggae, techno, rock, electro), as well as a sense of humour in many cases. As a result it is impossible to categorize this record into any specific genre, as was my intention from the beginning. So sit back and enjoy the ride. It has been a long time coming. Super-cool, limited edition, mini-LP style CDs are available.
